Makers’ Fair

Roll up, roll up!

On the Saturday morning of the Triennale, we’ll take a break from the talking and demonstrating to give visitors from overseas and interstate an opportunity to browse the famous Salamanca markets.

At the same time, we will throw open the doors of PW1 and invite the public in to see the exhibitions, mingle with the artists and learn what fun can be had with clay.

Along with roving performers, demonstrations by local artists, fresh Tasmanian toffee apples, fairy floss, fun and games, The Makers’ Fair will be an opportunity for delegates to sell their wares.

The TACTT2019 team invites conference delegates, presenters and demonstrators

to participate in the

Makers’ Fair.

The Makers’ Fair is timed to run alongside the famous Salamanca Market on Saturday morning, 4thMay 2019.  Salamanca Market is Tasmania’s most visited tourist attraction and prides itself on having the biggest selection of locally made products and produce in Tasmania and is just over the road from the Triennale conference venue, PW1.

TACTT will provide, at no cost, table space of 900mm x 750mm (half a trestle table) for each participant to sell their work.
